I am still trying to figure out how I didn't completely see it on Wed night and also how I don't see any veins. Like I can't even make out a single one. LOLYep...so amazing isn't it!

It has been my limited experience that when I crack quitters I can see the remains. If you cracked and saw nothing, I would guess they were clears.Ok had to go check. All 10 plus one.... Are doing well.
So yesterday at day 9 I checked all eggs. Didn't see veins or anything in one sellers eggs, but questioned one egg but saw no veins so kept it. Cracked open some of the ones I took out and all of the ones I cracked were scrambled so just tossed the rest.... Now hoping I was right. Checked the other one tonight and can't see veins but thought I saw movement... Then questioned if it was something floating around and not movement. Took a pic and looks like I can see the eye. So took a video and in the video I can see it getting darker and lighter as it moves...... I am now praying none I didn't crack had chicks in them that I missed!!!! It is day 10 wouldn't think I would miss them...
Here is the pic
I didn't crack them all. I had taken out like 13 eggs so only cracked 5 I think. They were all scrambled and the last group I got from this seller were also mostly scrambled so I figured rest were too. I will just have to believe my gut was right and rest were bad besides this oneIt has been my limited experience that when I crack quitters I can see the remains. This would definitely have been congenital or an issue with incubation (although I’ve never heard of that particular deformity). This was not caused by extra time in the incubator. No pics...just curious as to what happened.
So one of the 2 BUFF babies that didn't hatch and had looked perfect right up to lockdown I gave overnight in incubator just cuz it had looked so good all along.
Both buff eggs were much larger than the others...so should have had plenty of room to hatch.
I opened it up as I took it out this morning just wondering what happened to the lil guy...the beak was not hard, fully developed and only partial yolk remained in shell.
Would the beak have softened because of remaining in the incubator once it had died? Or does this sound like it had deformities?
Just curious since I've had no luck hatching or obtaining any buff babies!
Thanks yall....and I still can't believe I opened it! I've done a lot I never dreamed I would do since havin chickens!
It should be fine. With eggs under my broody she wouldnt go back to right nest sometimes and would be off for 2-4 hrs and her eggs were fine.Great, the incubator got unplugged and I don’t know for how long… Temp was 83°
