@Hucklekree and I got our eggs from him and we both had good hatches aside from a chick popping out too quick for the yolk to be absorbed. I know mine zipped and popped like popcorn and were very robust immediately!
Though I had not gotten shipped eggs before, I had read all the horror stories about badly packed eggs. Mine were packed very well! The seller followed up with info on shipped eggs and was available for concerns or questions. I'd buy from this seller again if I needed to.
thank you. I might check them out. I really wanted more than 2 girls. But we'll see. I'm about done with incubating for a little while.

That's interesting. I thought I'd read somewhere that the NN trait was dominant. Maybe not?
No idea. Their males are gold Deathlayers and the females are NN (turkens). I know it was a Deathlayer because all the chicks are so different. The gold Deathlayer has amazing chicks just like the silver. These are Ozzys siblings (or shipping mates) at another farm.

I'm so darned impulsive!!!!:he just ordered some more bielefelder eggs from skywalker2136!! I happened to go look at his listings and he actually had some ending in like 10 minutes. I guess my fingers slipped and ended up winning the auction!:idunno and here I thought I was done hatching for awhile. O well maybe I will get some more girls.:fl

We have an albino quail... I hope it makes it. Out of 30 eggs only 8 SSC quail have thrived to this point. Many passed away and I’m glad it’s stabilized because my heart cannot take much more!

That's a bummer it was such a rough hatch. What a stunning baby quail (are they still called chicks?)! I'll have to Google what it'll look like as an adult.

It’s the Schofield Silver Collection. I’m unsure what it’ll look like since it’s albino. Probably all white because it has the red eyes.

I have Rosetta quail chicks as well. I’ll get pics of them too. They’re fast lol

the fact that they were not a bad price and he is only one state away from me helped make the decision. And if I remember correctly he's a pretty fast shipper. My incubator will be empty tomorrow. My other bator goes into lockdown tonight. Those are just some from my flock. The EE I had gotten from a friend of a friend were not fertile or were to old. Not a single one had any development out of 18 eggs. Luckily they were free, so no complaints really. But after these and now the recently purchased eggs I have to stop. I want to let all my babies grow out before I do anymore. I'm wanting to hatch some show silkies but I want to keep them completely separated from everything else. So I might wait till late September/ early October, depending on the weather.
