I put 11 crested Pekin/blue Swedish cross eggs in the bator about 24 hours ago. We’ll see how they come out!!

15 Blue Birchen Marans eggs (2nd attempt hatching Marans for my friend) shipped yesterday. My combo batch of eggs (Blue Birchen Marans and Opal Legbars) and my Silkie eggs shipped today. Hopefully I will be setting them by this weekend. (Crossing fingers they arrive okay.....no more shaken boxes please. )

I just put another 18 Olive Eggers into my incubators for a June hatch instead of early July. I only got those eggs to participate in this hatch-a-long, but when the breeder calls to tell you your eggs are ready, you go get the eggs. Lol!

So I have over 40 eggs incubating right now...I keep telling myself that I'm not going to get more eggs, but let's be honest, many of these chicks are going to a good friend of mine that breeds chickens and we all know it wouldn't be right for me to take payment from her in any form but hatching eggs. LOL!

So disappointed right now! I ordered my first batch of eggs from eBay last Wednesday to be shipped Monday so I could set for the Fourth of July hatch along and just found out my eggs won’t be shipped till probably next Monday! They actually had a 8th or 9th arrival date in the ad but I knew shipping these days is taking a little longer but not to even get them shipped for over a week after I bought them is disappointing. Is this how buying eggs off eBay goes. It’s made me very leary of ever buying from eBay again. Or am I just being a baby.

A lot of people are backed up on orders for egg sales. It’s typical with what’s going on in the world right now to expect shipping delays due to an abundance of orders.

Most of the ads say it depends on the hens and how many orders they have. I've had them come way sooner than expected too which was frustrating because my incubators were all still occupied. If timing is important to you, it's best to check with the seller to work that out ahead of time. That's my experience anyway.
