My boys are pretty blasé about everything. They run and play and are happy but could care less about much else. The girls are skittish though.

I have been considering flock raiser, it really isn't that much more expensive. And if it eliminates the FOUR different feeds I currently have running through my different groups it may be worth the bump in costs.

I know how that goes. We had 4 broodies at one time. Then one went broody again then another one went broody. So we have two broodies now.

I love chicks so I’m not complaining! Plus it’s easier if they care for them and not me. It makes my life easier since I have quail chicks to tend to now.
Have you ever seen broodies raise quail chicks!? I just saw a video where they did that so the chicks bonded with the chicken and were able to free range instead of be in cages and it was so cool!! Though of course yours already have an aviary instead of cages but still. I thought it was neat since I had read quail can’t free range cause they won’t come back but if they bond to a broody they apparently stick by her. :D :love

Yes we talked to the school principle. The students will use their chrome books and it will be just like school but on the computer. They will start at normal time and end at the normal time. They will have a break for lunch where the parents can make them a lunch then they will be back learning.

I hope that is what our school does this time if we have to go the school at home route. In the spring, the problem was "not everyone has internet access to use their school issued iPad or chromebook" so they didn't do any actual scheduled learning.

I think you should!! I can’t imagine feeding four feeds!!! I thought it was annoying just having 2-3 hahah flockraiser or starter for the chicks and layer for the adults and game bird feed for the quail haha now everybody (except the quail) is on flockraiser as of yesterday because of my broody and her chicks and I’m thinking of keeping it that way for good. 😂🤣

Though I actually prefer the blue seal multi flock over the flockraiser as I find it less dusty and it’s higher protein but my TSC doesn’t carry that one and I haven’t been to the other feed store in a while.

Anyway, I would definitely recommend switching to one or two feeds if you can!!! It is so much easier!!!! Hahah
