A few days late, but setting peafowl eggs today!

Wish I could have a forth of July hatch! But my duck eggs will be here Friday and that will be a week late to set them for the forth. ☹

Still counts pretty much since it is in this thread My anniversary is June 13th, it'll be 6 years. How time flies by... I guess for my anniversary I will tell him he has to pick eggs to put in the bator.

I usually only buy local. I’ll see what’s around. There’s no chicken I truly want right now. I think I’ve owned most breeds you can get in the US besides the all black ones.

Don't forget to set your chicken eggs on June 13th to be part of the 4th of July Hatch

So as it turns out, there's gonna be a farm and garden swap (with appropriate distancing) at a local feed store that day. If someone brings interesting hatching eggs, maybe I'll set chickens as well as quail, haha.

Yes!!!! I don’t think there are any swaps in VA yet. There’s no schedule for them as of now. I could’ve sold a ton of chicks if there was though.

Depending on what happens with my hatch of chickens I might look into Araucana. But I heard that they were could be interbred and might not be real Araucana. And considering the cost people are asking I don’t want to pay that for them if I am not really getting what I am paying for.
