Due to the move. I worked all day yesterday and when got home at 10pm I went to see how she was doing. All the eggs we're cold so I candled them and they had no movement at all. I checked a few times to be sure but nothing. I just hope she doesn't move again
I tend to find at least with the birds I had in the past either they are great broodies or horrible. There doesn't seem to be an in between. Usually if a hen starts acting wishy washy on her eggs I would take them from her and finish incubating and not let her sit anymore.
We were all there at some point ourselves! Hatching chicks is a wonderful experience but it can be nerve-wracking when you're new and don't know what to look for! I had an experienced friend that I was texting into all hours of the night during my first hatching experience! Haha, what would we do without our hatching gurus?
