JUNE - JULY HATCH-ALONG!!!!!!!

Pics
@CluckNDoodle The Isbar in our last hatch was splayed. I didn’t have any luck with the leg banding. I had better luck with the cup method... https://104homestead.com/fixing-spraddle-leg-drinking-glass/

I also did very gentle leg stretches. I adjusted how I held it as well— instead of letting it lay in my hand, I held it and let its feet touch my hand. Just enough for it to want to push off, but not enough that it could bend its legs to sit down, if that makes any sense.

Good luck, hope it starts doing better soon!

Thank you! I put some med wrap/vet wrap on him and he stumbles around a bit but honestly seems to be moving better with it than without. Both times I took him out today him legs stayed in for a while before he started to kick them out again so my hope it that he'll be all straightened out in a couple of days. I'm more concerned about his lack of activity than anything but I'm going to periodically take him out and give him a few drops of Nutridrench in some water because it seems to perk him up shortly after each time. :fl:fl:fl
Not sure what else I can do other than hope and wait!

A lot of my hatching seems to be happening at night all of a sudden. lol, This old lady is tired but this peep said it doesn't care and it's going to hatch right now! Several others are also pipped. :caf It's going to be a long night!

Cool idea - I hadn’t heard of that! Glad that it worked for you! I’m currently treating two keets for spraddle leg, one with a rubber band and one a bandaid. Seems to be working - if I could catch that purple keet I’d take the rubber band off!!!
