Just curious... what side of the bed do you and your spouse sleep on ?

No, but that's yet another reason the dog isn't allowed in the bedroom. She was used to sleeping in bed with him. When I started spending the night, she'd wiggle inbetween us. One night, she had her back to him and pushed me out of bed. I'm sorry, but a 135 lb Rottweiler is like having another person in bed and she had to go elsewhere. Plus, she used my pillow when I wasn't there, and that was just disgusting.

Wel, I used to shove/poke the Princess to make her stop snoring-- then one night she whacked me a good one-- now I just go to the guest bedroom.

One time my ex husband punched me in the face.

No, he was not ever violent, but he did have sleep apnea and on the rare occasion that he could get into a deep state of sleep, he'd be really out of it. One night he was asleep, snoring loudly, and I was awake sitting up in bed reading. He suddenly jerked himself up, looked at me with glazed eyes and punched me in the face and turned over all annoyed. Needless to say I started crying from the pain and he woke up and was confused to see me sitting there with a bloody nose. I said, "You just punched me in the bleeping face!" I'm laughing now retelling it, but he was mortified. He kept saying "Are you sure?" I'm like, "Yep, pretty sure, I was the one awake for it".

I'm on the right.. hubby is on the left.. but that's only cause he's military and has to get up uber early most days for PT.. and my side of the bed is against the wall (we have a small bedroom). So this way he doesn't have to crawl across me plus the alarm is on his side of the bed.. once he's up I finally crawl out of bed to go make his lunch.. but when he's in Iraq (he's been 3 times now) I get the whole bed.. until the cats come in and demand their individual places... lets face it.. the cats get the choice spots.. and i have to work around them!

what is it with sleep apnea and punching?.. my husband has sleep apnea and did that to me too.. sat bolt upright punched me in the face and laid back down sound asleep... he also would sit up and say really weird things then lay down like it never happened .. one night he sat up.. yelled "and it pooped down the system legs!" laid back down and was still sound asleep.. the next morning I told him what he had said.. he had no clue what it meant! There have been other times where he would speak in foreign languages (that he doesn't know).. sometimes while he was doing it I would ask him to translate and he would.. then when i would check into what he had said (on a translator) it was correct.. that one still confuses us

I sleep where I want, DH finds a spot. I have been pregnant 8 times before, 7 months into the 9th, so I get my way. Plus, DH can sleep anywhere happily, so he doesn't much care.

My "side" is closest to the bathroom, in reality we both sleep dead center wrapped around each other. Got a memory foam bed, and now we can sleep twisted up with no stiffness.

We both sleep on the top side.

But then she's my partner, if a spouse I suppose she'd have to start sleeping under the bed.
