Just wanted to have a couple laughs and smiles today...so far that's the only thing my birds are giving me...not so free joy and entertainment. No eggs here yet.
Was wondering...what are your favorite bird behaviors? And your least favorite...?
My favorites are when I catch any of my crew swishing their tail feathers..that is too cute! I also love when they get excited for treats and run/fly over to where I am. I'm also currently getting a kick out of watching my runner duck try to fly...she tries so hard, flapping frantically and running around on tippy toes!!
Least favorite is easy...ducks and geese have made a giant "gold mine" that now stays soggy and they regularly bill around for bugs...that's not fun to accidentally step in. And to finish up...my geese..that are so precious and could do no wrong, love to express their affinity for me by screaming at the top of their lungs and giving my heart a start...every time.
