I got 3 little female chicks from Southern States yesterday to add to my flock of 5. They are doing quite well!

One Ameraucana, I think I'm gonna name her Tzipporah:

One Buff Orpington, I'm gonna name her Sappho:

And one Blue Plymouth Rock, name as of yet undecided:

Sorry I'm no good at names. Mine is Nancy. If I could have thought of a better name as an infant, I'm sure I would have requested a change.

I have tried to learn the difference between Ameraucanas and Easter Eggers but I can't figure it out.

It's easy. They look exactly alike, act exactly alike, do everything exactly alike- but chicken people see one as a pure breed and the other as not.

Me, I just see everything as a Chicken.
