I'm really thinking about ordering some eggs from Meyers in March when it's a bit warmer and I can put the chicks outside.

But I can also order chicks from the local farm and they had a lot of breeds that I wanted.

You definitely should!!! I really loved the variety I got and they were packed extremely well. And I’m pretty sure all of mine were fertile. I don’t think I had any clears. I just suck at hatching.

You would probably have much better luck.

That is another good option!!

Maybe try that and test some of the breeds then order some eggs if you like them? They sell single breeds too so you could order just Lav Orps.

I have room for 8 more chickens, technically I can go to 10 because I have an extra coop.

I have chose 1 from the Halloween hatch and I like about 4 from the hatch I just did.

I'm thinking about using the dog kennel that the chicks are in for the turkeys because I think it might work. I have to think about it though.

Nice!! I think I’m that case I’d keep some from your hatches then add maybe one each of those breeds from the farm? Or just got crazy and order a hatching egg assortment. or go really crazy and order both! Lol

I think that would be a good idea! I think it should be big enough.
