Were these live eggs? Mine look much darker/more full? Maybe they’re dead?

It's the lighting... These are 3/4 full of black, they're pink eggs so it looks crazy in the pic.

These are the chicks that hatched, they were alive and dancing when I took the pic.

Thanks! I’m gonna try this! I don’t have them marked with an x or an o but do have them numbered. I’ll try adding an x and an o and watch them for a while.

And I’m going to feel awful if I caused them to die

It honestly wouldn't have been you that caused them to die, it would have been the turner.

I actually looked it up and you can correct it by turning them slowly everyday if they're not dead. It'll cause the embryo to correct itself and detach from the side of the shell...

Ahh okay. That makes sense!!

It honestly wouldn't have been you that caused them to die, it would have been the turner.

Yeah but I should have candled them more often and/or noticed the turner wasn’t working. I actually have never really been sure about it but decided to trust it they looked like they were spinning at least but I don’t think they’re flipping sides. I think I’ll have to hand turn maybe. I’ll mark them and watch it for a few hours though haha

Also I’ve bumped into the table a couple times shaking the incubator/eggs a tad. Maybe I killed the eggs from that.

Bumping the table wouldn't ruin anything. I bumped my table and an egg rolled all the way across the incubator and it still hatched.

When my chicks hatch they were literally playing soccer with the eggs all of them hatched.

Don't blame yourself! is there a way that you could get a different Turner from incubator Warehouse or do they have some type of warranty on their products? Maybe you just got a Turner that was bad because you know with production lines there's always a few that don't work.

Quit blaming yourself or I will send my purple minion to your house shes evil. DH calls her purple minion because she's sweet one second and then she is a terrorist. She's so cute, but is such a terror. Her beard is soaked because she likes sticking her whole face into the water bowl!

And I probably could but I don’t think any of the other ones would fit in the IncuView? I just looked and they do sell a version of their turner that fits in the Hovabators and I see lots of other turners but I don’t think the other turners fit in this one.

And I think it’s a 1 year warranty but tbh I don’t think it’s broken because I’ve stared at it and watched the arm move. It does seem to be moving the tray and working that way. I just don’t think it’s a very efficient system haha I know some people have troubles with the motor running but the arm not moving but I don’t have that problem. Mine works. Just seems like a poor design haha

Although that said, I have to set mine about 2 degrees lower than recommended to get it to work right and I don’t think the humidity thing is accurate so I could probably get a new one cause of those haha

We went to DH friend's house one night and their dog had puppies. We went back a few weeks later when they were able to run around and Jolene (purple minion) kept following me around. She had really stumpy legs, but I never asked to get her because I thought DH would say no. 3 weeks later he texted me saying that he was going to his friends house and asked me if I wanted stump legs he brought her home and I was shocked.

I also have to show you pics of the chicks at some point. They're crazy! Their air purifier is coming today

im with @FortCluck on this one i always mark with x and o and manually turn 4 times a day you will end up with a few chicks from this hatch if you start doing this now

ive never had an egg turner i dont like there design
