It works for only one 24 hour period And yes I believe you're supposed to tape it to your forehead or under your arm but I did not tape it to anything I just placed it in my incubator.

Ah okay. Thanks!

It's a one time use thing.

Ah okay. How many are in a pack? Just one? $20 seems like kind of a rip off for just one haha

I said the larger egg would turn...it wouldn't turn. Duh...shouldn't type while half asleep.

It’s okay, I knew what you meant haha just wondered if I may have the opposite problem hah

I use these round thermometers/hygrometers that I bought on line....think China direct. They seem to work pretty well.

Thanks! May have to get those for next time!

But for now since I don’t wanna kill the eggs waiting, I think I’m gonna get some Walmart ones haha

Which kind?? I assume the glass one??

Next time ask the shipper to not write anything on the box. People aren't nice they are cruel no matter how much you want them to obey fragile and hatching egg stickers. Yes I know yes I did an experiment and yes marked boxes were way worse with scrambles, detached aircells and the like. Also dont let them "sit" straight to the incubator or hen. Take this for what it's worth. Better luck next time

I agree with not letting them sit.
The sooner they are in the bator the better.

Yes get three of the glass ones.
Or four.

Okay thank you.

Thanks!! I’ll try this next time.

The weird thing was the box was in perfect condition, no damage or even dents or anything and was packed extremely well, 2 foam pads on bottom, then the foam egg shipper and the eggs, then a foam pad on top, then some foam pieces (not peanuts, big, almost like the holes from the egg shipper), then two of those cardboard egg flat thingies. And it was very lightly marked, I think just one mediumish sticker on top that just said fragile hatching eggs. So it’s weird. Doesn’t look like they abused it but who knows. I have seen horror stories of boxes being completely broken and kicked and such but this one still looked brand new so

But next time I’ll see if they can leave the stickers off hah

And I’ll put them in right away next time.

Thanks. :)

Wonder if maybe the cold affected it? It was pretty mild the week they shipped but who knows what it was like elsewhere.

Thanks. That makes sense. Though I thought I read it was bad to put them in right away without letting them get to room temp first? But mine were probably already at room temp in the PO haha they were sitting by the desk not in the back
