This is so exciting :lau

I’m sorry for the post spam but I seriously haven’t stopped smiling yet and it’s been like 20 minutes. :lau
They sure can do that, eh?
Eggs are tough. Just this last spring, I received a box of eggs to hatch. They were well packaged, but had shaken loose, and most were broken, smashed, and not viable for hatching. Three were rolling around in the mash at the bottom, unbroken. I put them in the incubator. All three developed. One was a malpo, and didn't make it. The other two? Well, they busted out, and are two of my favorite chickens, currently.

They're really nice looking!

They sure are neat birds. Bantam mutts, but they're beauties with good personalities to boot! I look forward to some fun shrink ray business with the tiny rooster and my cream Brabanters. It'll be interesting to see what pops out of those eggs.

I have mystery chicks hatching now! I can't sleep :gig
