I guess they do have that heater at my TSC. I just looked online and it says it's in stock. Let me know how it works. I have feathered feet chicks! I think 5 of them! There are 2 eggs that have external pips and 1 looks dead to me, I'm not sure though

I’ll definitely let you know!! I only saw the one at mine. It was up top with the incubators in the chicken feed aisle haha

And awesome!! You wanted a lot of feather footed ones right?

How many did you set again??

I set 14... 4 were infertile and 1 was a quitter. 9 made it to lockdown. 6 have hatched and I'm waiting on the other 3.

That’s what I thought!! Especially since the Premier1 ones (which I also looked at and almost ordered when I was comparing in store) are like $60 (when you factor in shipping) for a wayyyyyy smaller one. The smallest one (10x10) is like $41 with $15 or $16 shipping for me. That is the cheapest shipping! This one is 12x18 I think or maybe just over. Their most expensive one is like $80. It’s bigger than mine though but still. I’m sure you could buy on Amazon for cheaper or free shipping but still. Much more than this. I thought I made a good decision deciding NOT to order the more expensive one despite everyone always talking about that one and just try this one first. I’m sure it will work just fine.

I’ll get pictures when I get home but it is this one.

And here are the Premier ones.

Mine can also double as a coop heater which I thought was cool. Not that I ever use that feature but I could.

Sorry, hard to tell on the internet hah it sounded serious especially with the other ones/the conversation but if it wasn’t, sorry

Thanks! Do need to find another one though too and/or more clients but I only started last year and I’ve saved a lot and have a few clients already. Most were actually picked up just this year.

I want to get insurance and make it a real business and/or get certified as a professional dog trainer so I can start offering training too but idk yet.

Do need to find a real one for taxes and stuff though.

Yeah it is nice to have! Though I try to save most of it but still. Actually thinking of opening a checking account too just so I don’t have to always use cash but idk.
yeah context and/or sarcasm is hard to do via text lol

For sure!! lol I misinterpret stuff and/or get misinterpreted all the time lol very hard to tell on the internet without facial expressions and tone and such. But I do also think sometimes I can be a little overly defensive sometimes. :hide sorry :hide

I’m like that even in person though too sometimes :lau :hide

I’ll work on it.

But that’s part of why, as childish as it comes across, I put lol or haha or emojis after everything to make sure it’s clear :lau

Funny thing is usually even with text I pick up most sarcasm but I think with the rest of the conversation it was harder lol

Sorry :hide

ANYHOW.

Wish I had a rooster because I got a HUGE egg today and I wish I could incubate it. :lau

That would probably be a bad idea though because I’m sure it’s a double yolker (i.e. twins) but still.

This thing was seriously HUGE. It barely fit even in the XL carton :lau

Those are her normal size eggs next to this one :lau

Scale kept fluctuating between 78 and 79 grams so I guess it was right on the line but either way, HUGE!!

Her normal are only like low to mid 50s. I weighed her others. Lowest 51, highest 56.

So this is way bigger than usual and bigger than any egg I’ve ever seen.

Poor girl. :lau :ep :th
