I need to do laundry and other stuff. Just had a hawk attack and can't find my polish! I know that the hawk did not take her because I literally had to get with an inches of the hawk to get it out of my yard!

My husband said to wait a few hours and hopefully she will come out from wherever she is. If not I am afraid that she got pretty injured and she has passed away. I only saw about 10 to 15 feathers on the ground so it doesn't look like it was that bad of an attack. When I walked outside the bird was on top of her trying to take her.

I’ve several hawk attacks and the first one, my birds scattered all over the place. Found most of them in the bushes in the front yard and found the intended target in the back frozen in fear under a large pine branch. But one of them evidently went deep into the woods and didn’t come out for like 2 hours!! I was so worried about her. Thought for sure she was a goner. Then suddenly she just walked out of the woods like nothing ever happened!! So there’s hope for your girl.

I’m gonna do it tonight when I get home and then I think I’m going to lockdown tonight. Can’t believe it’s already lockdown haha

I found Blue Footed Boobie!!! She's missing 60% of her tail feathers but no other damage!

Next hatch you do, you need someone to remind you to do things so you have more chicks!

I use an app that reminds me to candle and such. You need to use something like it so you get good hatch rates and you're not just blowing money on eggs.

Feeling better this morning though and I’ll definitely do it tonight. Have no choice.... gotta lockdown today.

Next hatch you do, you need someone to remind you to do things so you have more chicks!

I use an app that reminds me to candle and such. You need to use something like it so you get good hatch rates and you're not just blowing money on eggs.

I definitely need to be better about it.

And all the other stuff haha

Although don’t some people like never candle?

Does it really effect hatch rates? If so then whoops
