Try to get near 50 so stay where you're at for now... As close as you can. Once you start getting external pips it will go up. Mine went to 60% whenever there was a pip then it would go back to 50% until another pip or hatch happened. So below 50 is okay too? Or should I try to get it to 50?
Mine only has one vent hole and the trays to add the humidity are under the mesh so you kind of have to lift the mesh up to get to them. It’s a real pain lol it’s got like 3 channels/rings but you have to lift the mesh up.
They do sell a humidikit but I didn’t buy it.

Kiki also sent me a video and you want to make sure that the water is even throughout because that's when your humidity will be on point.
So make sure that you put equal amounts of water in all of them without putting way too much.
If you put 5 ml in A then put it in B and C.
I honestly would just leave it at 40% until you get your first external pip. Then see what it is...
Then you won't risk putting too much in
If you do think you should add some try to add it evenly and not way too much. Like 1/3 or less of a cup. A little goes a long way...Thanks! This is all very helpful. I was kinda just putting it in one corner.but it kinda spread/moved some on its own I think.
I just worry cause it dipped below 40 some too, like 39, but now I think it’s back up but hovering at around 40 still. Maybe I should add just a teeny bit more?? I don’t want to drown them but don’t want them to dry out either so idk.
I might just leave it ha

You don't want to have it to humid because it can mess with the air cells... You don't want it to dry because it will mess with the membrane... It's all about balance. Anything over 40% is good.
The last Hatch that I did I got 9/10 chicks and I was under 50% the whole time after day 18.
I have a ton of syringes and I slowly add it little by little hour by hour until it's perfect. Thanks! This is very helpful. I’m not sure how much I added last time but I think it was below that but idk. I think I’m just gonna add just a teeny little bit just so it doesn’t go below 40 and then I’ll leave it haha but it’ll be a little bit. I wanna find one of those syringe things first aha
