Very nice
you do know, however, that one coop is NOT gonna be enough
I had one coop - just wanted a few hens for eggs.....
I now have four coops, a waterfowl pen - 20-some ducks, three geese and about 200+ chickens.
it's addictive.
Oh, and you'll be wanting an Incubator for Christmas
have fun with your new flock

heehee......I already want an incubator. I also secretly figured out that the run can be added on to and maybe a coop on the other side of it. Hubby just doesn't know my plans yet
He has to be eased into things. lol
yep, I know the "add onto" deal -
"but honey, it would be so easy, you already have One Whole Wall!"
and if possible - free range, then you can have more in the coop if they are only sleeping in there
mine go out all year round, rain, shine, wind, snow, etc... so keeping them in for inclement weather is next to impossible - I think I made them stay inside one entire day last winter - and they pouted for days - even after I let them out the next day.
eta - I also started out with one incubator
now I have three, and plan to buy another before spring.
