he also wants one with a plan so I can have the buddy list thing, because he and Jake get on the phone and four hours later... they're still on the phone.

plus, I could put just about everyone I know on the buddy list and call them for free

I don't chat with that many people ont he phone, so it wouldn't be so bad.

downside is taking the thing with me and getting calls no matter where I am or what I'm doing.

Yes, but unlike a landline, you can turn the phone off and still get messages

His name is ChickenJohn (on byc) if ya do a search for him, ya might be able to PM him and ask if he's hatching this time of year. Eubank is over by Cindy (cthrash1). I've never bought from him, but his ad he had up earlier this summer said they hatch all the time.

I'm just imagining all the sites, people, family, etc... I have to tell a new phone number to - was bad enough trying to get hubby to remember a new address and phone when I moved here

I had to tell him our phone number (every time someone asked for it) for a full year. I guess he needs me around for something after all

it's as bad as changing your email address!!!

But at least with a cell phone, he can look at it and see what his number is, you might just have to show him a few dozen times

Very good idea! Do you know where they are from?

FrChuck is coming, isn't he up by Lousiville, Shelley? I can't recall who all is coming from up there. I am pretty sure someone from southern IN is coming, though.... she just posted today on the chickenstock thread about it.

Shelley knows more about where everyone is than I do
