I thought maybe he was the problem~I think he must have an addiction problem~Don't you have someone that could keep most of your birds for a while~until you can get settled into a proper place or is there an empty barn somewhere that you could make them a temp home? I know you have worked sooooo hard for your fabulous birds & I hate to see you loose them all

Praying for you

He's just an a$$, he always has been. I guess I should be lucky he let us stay this long, I think it's a record. I don't know very many people in this area and I'll probably end up moving back to Florida, so I'm just going to sell them all....as much as I hate to

I met KellyG on BYC when I bought my Mini Incubator & some EE eggs from her~she is very nice & lives on a small farm near Tampa, Fl maybe she could/would keep some of ur fowl for u for a while or help u find a place ? I'll look up her address & email 4 u~I am hurting for you~My Dad died just after I turned 7yr so I've never had that problem, however, I was married to an alcoholic for 30+ yrs.& they change personalities frequently & then deny it.

One of our Plymouth Barred Rock hens (about a year old) appears to have just gone broody, and we're looking for anyone in the Elizabethtown area with fertilized eggs that we can drop under her today or tomorrow. My wife would love some Easter Eggers, but I think she's open to anything.

Anyone in the area have some available?

I Just found out Sat while I was at the swap in Shepherdsville that there is a swap in Etown also. The guy I talked to said he had been to the one in Etown the last few weeks, but wanted to see if Shepherdsville had picked up any. From what he said the one in Etown is at the bowling alley where they have the farmers marketand you don't need to be there till around 7:30 or 8:00. He said it is fairly new (not sure if he ment just the animals, or the whole thing), but he said he has done really good there. I plan to check it out in about 2 weeks when my bunnies are ready and incubators hatch.

Interesting! We may need to stop by there on the way to the Etown farmers market tomorrow morning to check it out.

Thanks for the heads-up!
