There is no info on whether we need a license but even if we don’t I’m still trying to get one. (There aren’t a lot of people who care about this stuff where I live) But we have been in contact with government workers before who have given us a permit to own leopard tortoises which are a threatened species. We don’t deal with endangered species of wildlife but we rather work with a much bigger wildlife rescue center about an hour away from where we live when endangered species come in. I’m also in contact with a wildlife rescue group about 16 hours away from where we live and they all have asked us to continue going as a private rescue center so as not to get swamped with a lot of animals. There are no wildlife rehab places where we are and people tend to leave animals to die because of that. So we’ve been going for about 7 years now and we hope to continue growing.Never heard of those, so just looked them up. Curiously, where you live, are you required to have a license to rehab?
I’ll be sure to do that soon
Hi, thanks for joining us! I hope some time you'll share pictures of the animals you care for.
