I have a local grower that I've gotten lamb from, it's pricey tho.I agree. I enjoy them both whenever I see them on a menu. Unfortunately, getting them to cook at home is difficult.

By the time they are slaughtered they are not the tiny cute little bottle babies everyone imagines. Like this one I LambySat while growers were on vaca,

Only time I ate goat was in France, it was a small and almost whole carcass on the table, beautifully roasted. There as a language barrier(long story) and at first we thought it was lamb...then translation was corrected and they all stared at us as the 'goat' info was passed. It was fine by me and I was glad for the delicious experience.... I smiled, they sighed, and we all laughed!
