Always glad to hear when a rooster has acquired a good home! That’s good news.

I’m also glad my very first chicken sale is a success! It’s one thing to say “he seems to be a good boy”... quite another to have him actually live up to it, when he was mostly a just junior boy in Mr Marans pen with some good potential. I’m glad he’s flourishing, and didn’t really mind selling him off so cheaply to a good home. (It was that or the stew pot, so he cane out much better for it!)

Hi Kris! Your Barnies are gorgeous! Here is my sweet, sweet Claire! And that’s Rosemary in back..

We have two jeeps, a ‘97 Chevy 3/4 ton with a 1 ton modified chassis, and a Dodge 2500 Cummins diesel flat deck with 5th wheel hitch and custom built sides. It was “cheaper” to buy the Dodge with the hitch @ $7000, than have one installed in our Chevy for $4000. To haul our “temporary home” to the farm. And the low deck is awesome for haying!

Andrew is a part of the 501st legion costuming club, a Star Wars fan group turned charitable organization. He has a “may the 4th (force)” event in Nanimo to attend and has agreed to transport backdrops and event props with our truck. Our Chevy is on loan to a friend ATM. The jeeps are driven by me and my mom primarily for farm chores.

I was driving and SCARY!!! because that is all the windows for our house, and the road is rough and the suspension is STIFF! Also I’ve only been driving on the farm for the last year or so. All glass arrived unharmed

So pretty! Are my girls fat? Yours look leaner, of course it could just be due to different lines... maybe mine are just “curvy and big boned”? And I wish mine were sweet! They tend more towards psycho though.

.... yours look better quality.. as in, their lacing. Claire has the most beautiful shape of all my chickens... she is a big gal.. not fat...and lays a very large egg!
