We got most of the concrete. I bit my tongue and there were no incidents, Except that FIL miscalculated how much and we were about two yards short. No he did not say 7 meters, he said 7 yards... he never speaks in metric measurements, but whatever. I also use shovels and rakes wrong, and can’t do anything right. He just wouldn’t be happy unless he got to make us hand mix a bunch of concrete. It’s sitting in the back of our truck because Andrew is working on the other island today. Hopefully I can get some pictures soon when it is done.

I want to give everyone a heads up I might be offline for a while, issues with the cellular plan, and I’m probably going to lose connection tomorrow. I will try to stop by the Farm more often so I can use the WiFi there to keep in touch, but it’s not a comfortable place for me to spend time, so I’m not sure how much I will be around in the next few months.

You do what is necessary. We will miss you sorely but we understand. You will be in our thoughts.

And congrats on the cement! Finally!

But seriously, I'm glad the pour is finally done.
