All of the Silver Phoenix from this hatch have been sold. There are still some of the Partridge Rocks left..maybe 10 or so.
And the Barred Cochin bantams are still available.

Next hatch is January 6th.

I have several chicks That hatched on Christmas until New Years Day. I am only keeping a few of these. The rest can go to a good home. They are all mixed breed of silkie/aracuna, and the roo is an Onagadori. These chicks are black in color. Some of them are getting fuzzy tails, some not. The chicks hatching now are part silkie/aracuna hen and a Frizzle roo. The hen looks more like a button quail because she has no tail.

I also have 2 EE cockreals 3 and 4 months old and a PR/EE roo 3 months old. Also 4 (2 pullets, 2 cockreals), EE/Onagadori. They look like mini EE's.

All free to a good home. Or choose which ones you want. I need to find homes for all these chicks. I still have more in the bator but it seems the colder it gets the less eggs are hatching. I think some of them got too cold before I collected them.

It would be just a lie saver if somebody would just take them all.

You can email me for pics

I'm looking forward to both the Black Silkie Roo and the Showgirl. I haven't seen them yet..lol.!

John did call me yesterday so I asked him if he would be in Shepherdsville this Saturday and he said he would be. So maybe AM will hook up with him this week and I can pick them up from John. Thanks so much!! They will have a good home.

Well Chuck..I got the Showgirl Roo, for some reason he immediately looked like a "Clarence" to me..so that is what it's going to have to be..lol!! He looks really cool!. I have him in the garage tempararily, with a couple white Cochin girls that were indoor birds and have to be acclimated. I will keep him in there until it warms up enough to give him a girl or two of his very own. So, in this cold weather..he's got it made. They are in a huge brooder with a light bulb to keep them warm.

Hi, I have just found this thread and honestly have not read all 102 pages of posts. I am looking for a red, buff and gold laced standard size cochin roosters. I will have the following for sale in the spring. I would like an idea if people would want to buy hatching eggs or chicks:

Standard Cochins:
black
blue
silver laced
white
barred
partridge

Also, blue and black mottled bantams.

I have a mottled bantam cockerel - he's a fluffy guy, very pretty - but he has no hens, so I'm getting rid of him (I prefer the big cochins, anyway). Let me know if you're interested. Not sure where you are in KY, I'm down in Adair county, near Cumberland and Metcalfe county lines.

I will keep you in mind, but right now I won't need him. I have a cockerel and 2 mottled hens. I don't plan to do a lot of breeding with them this year just because I don't have enough of those to breed. I will hatch some and expand for next year though.

Does anyone in southern Kentucky area have bantam turkens or modern game bantams. I need a small (smaller the better) turken roo and a couple of hens and a couple of modern hens of any color.

We might be able to use him..my friend has one he is putting with a white frizzle hen, and one with a white straight hen, since they are black mottled..they should come out real pretty. I will see if he can use another Roo.
