What color is the comb supposed to be on a Langshans? My early-April hatched chick has an almost black comb at the moment. Her(?) legs are lightly feathered, and the rest of her feathers are coming in a lovely irridescent black, but that comb is a bit funky-looking to me. I'm not an expert anything, much less regarding this breed, so I'm curious if I should be concerned about this chick. She's acting/eating/drinking/pooping just fine, and socializes with the others readily, but boy is she a handful to catch! Definitely the most lively of the bunch, since the others hunker down and "purr" when you pet them. So-- anyone have any pics of immature Langshans that might give me an idea of what they should look like at this age? Thanks.
