Black, Blue, Mottled and White Large Cochins, the eggs are $25 per dozen with a $22 box and shipping fee.Okay thanks Bo. What color Cochins do you raise? And what prices do your hatching eggs run for.
Well, he is neither Black nor Blue nor Splash. I think you had better have a talk with "acechix" as to what else she has running around there. I have seen similar from Black crossed with GLCs. It looks kinda like a Brown red but probably doesn't have the correct genes to breed true.Hello cochin folks! I adopted this fellow a few months back from a fellow BYC member. Does this coloration have a name? He hatched from a batch of Acechix's "blue, black and splash" eggs. He's about 6 months old and so still a skinny teenager, though his crop is very full in these photos.
He's very pretty and super sweet and mellow.

He is the progeny from a hen that I hatched from a breeders black cochins flock. Seems he was working with Red Browns as well.
The hen developed the slightest red in her neck beyond her 2nd year. I contacted all persons who could have gotten eggs from her to let them know. (did you get eggs directly from me? My sale book is at home)
That hen is now with someones flock who is also working with red brown cochins.
He is a bit upright...but handsome.![]()
I sent you as PM as well![]()

Do you think LF cochins would be a good bird for a small 9 year old to show for 4H?
