Yeah, you should be able to know by now. Probably a drake then, as their voices tend to come in later. But don't quote me on that!

That's what I'm thinking too, there's a slight rasp in the peep, but I was hoping maybe it was just a weird female. Gosh darn, I had really hoped I wouldn't have 4 boys out of this group

Yes I didn’t realize it was that old either. I’d have to guess drake too.

I don't think my drakes are successfully breeding. I've candles dozens of eggs from nests this year and I've only had one or two develop that end up quitting. I watched Moose mount one of his hens and touch tails with her, but never saw any successful contact before he got off.

How old are they? Both males and females.

Oldest are a little over a year. I had a few fertile eggs last December, but I had to stop those because it was a really bad time to have a broody hen

The session I saw was on the ground, but I know at least the Swedish has bred in the water. Moose avoided the pool until about a week ago so I'm not sure if he has bred in it yet
