One of my Khaki campbell x Rouen mix has that, and I think it's developing into a male.
But, I am unsure if it's a tall tail sign it's a male.
For me, I just like to wait till the males and females start quacking.

Dang. I was hoping it was just a weird quirk. My male pastels or penciled calls never had that color as Littles, so I wasn't sure

Okay. Maybe I'll keep them then. the guy ahead of me when I bought them had 'sexed' them so he could get females, and claimed I had 4 males, so I guess worst case scenario, he's right about this one being a male.

Really tired, I've been trying to clean pens but it's just too hot for me to get much at all done now. Didn't get below 80 until the sun went down today. Great for all my Littles, not so great for me or the chickens.

Ducks seem much more heat tolerant, but maybe it's because their undersides are pretty damp from swimming, unlike the chickens?
