Just a general questions, I was wondering at what age does quail stop eggs? For instance a chicken little stop laying eggs at 4 to5 years old.

Hard question----some hens still lay older than that, some sex-links lay out a lot sooner than 4 or 5?
Different breeds of quail live longer than others so they probably a difference in how old they are when they stop. Maybe some serious quail raisers will respond.

Thanks for the info

All my current adults were born around Feb/March of last year, and they are all still laying fertile eggs. Who knows how long that will go. But both my ladies and guys are still fertile at a year and a half.

WHAT TYPE OF QUAIL ARE YOU REFERRING TO? COTURNIX QUAILS LAYING DECREASES AFTER A YEAR ENDING AT AROUND YEAR 2 THEY LAY MORE EGGS IF YOU PROVIDE ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING DURING LATE AUTUMN/WINTER BUT THEY MAY NOT LIVE AS LONG
