Ummm think safaia just layer her first egg! Not sure if I want to eat it though. She was just standing up in the nesting box when I opened the lid and found this. It’s shell-less and looks like two eggs! Never seen this but I’m sure it’s common in young layers.

Yay! Safaia layed a more regular looking egg today! Still pretty small, and uneven pigment, but sooo proud! Safaia’ is on the left.

Going to clean out the coop soon. It sounds like Nutmeg is actually primarily buff with a tiny bit of partridge on her feathers! Here are a few photos of her from yesterday! (Well, hopefully she!)

Currently I am in Hawaii, but once I return back to Washington I will post more photos! I can’t wait to see how much they’ve grown!

I do miss them! But Hawaii is amazing! Such different temperatures!

Yup! I will! Hopefully they have silkies. They say they got some in today (5 of each color) so hopefully they won’t be all gone!
