Lethargic for 2 days/diarrhea

Not much but I am using a syringe to squirt the medicated water down her throat. She drinks it when I do this. She did eat some kale that I placed in her cage yesterday but not today. She ate a little bit of crumbles.

Would you like to learn how to tube feed? It's dead easy and much faster, safer and less stressful than syringe feeding... It would be a great way to get her the medicated water that she needs, which is 30ml/kg 3-4 times a day.

Yes. I agree. I was hoping the diarrhea would clear up by now. I don't want to put her back out with the other chickens until it does. Would you do anything different?

I would have her inside where it's warm, she'd get weighed daily and I would tube feed if she wasn't drinking/eating enough on her own. Tube feeding link in my sig below. If it's something you're willing to try I'm available by phone to help. Check the link out. :D

Did you get the liquid or powdered Corid? If you have the liquid you could give her 20mg/kg, which is about .2ml per 2.2 pounds.

I got the powder. Mixed it per directions.

I think the directions on it are for cattle, chickens get 1.5 teaspoons per gallon, which should be 4.536 grams if I remember correctly, lol. The mfg is the one that told me 4.536 grams and you can check out my math in the Corid link below. Let me know if you find any errors!

Yes, I got the Corid at Tractor Supply. I got the powder form and mixed it per directions. Should I give 1ml tid or give it free supply in drinking water? I mixed it up and put it out for the rest of the flock drinking water, even though they are not sick. Was this right to do? Also, I noticed the Baytril is $100 (solution). Are the tablets cheaper and how you you administer tablets to chickens?
