Hello BYC! Yesterday I posted about some scab looking things on my chickens combs and wattles. I now know that they sadly have fowl pox. I am coming here for answers again. I have a 7 month old White Leghorn (Tweety), she just went into lay about a month ago, she and the rest of the flock members are eating 16% Dumor Layer Pellets, they have a good sized coop, and are free ranged. My concern with the White Leghorn is that her comb has been red some days and pink others. She can be an active, bright eyed, happy chicken one minute, and struggling to open her eyes and tucking her head in her feathers the next. Her breathing sounds normal, she still preens, and her poop is normal, but she has stopped laying along with the chicken who has the most serious case of fowl pox. 😢

In the picture her comb looks fine, but actually it's pink. She was standing idle, and just let me pick her up.

Can you gather her up and get some more photos of her eyes?
Are the Fowl Pox scabs on her eyes too, it's hard to tell in the photos.
Dry form of Fowl Pox which it looks like your flock has just by looking at your other thread will generally resolve on it's own in several weeks.
As suggested, you could paint the scabs with Iodine to help dry them up, but take care to not disturb the scabs much since this causes more spread.
Clean and sanitize your water stations. It may be a good idea to sanitize water as well (see the Chicken Chick article) since you have quite a few hens with Fowl Pox.

Here are some pics. She'll just stand there in the cage with her neck tucked in. Her poop is green and watery.

She barely eats now, she'll take a little chicken food if I hand feed her.

@Wyorp Rock she hasn't laid an egg for almost a week. I don't feel an egg. Her crop

barely has anything in it. Her poop is green although she hasn't eaten any grass. Her eye is now bubbly and pussy.
Here is a pic of today:

Update: We let her out of the cage. She goes and lays down under a truck in our yard. She starts to eat dirt, should I be worried, or is this expected?

Eating dirt sounds like she's trying to find grit - I would check to make sure her crop is emptying overnight.

Get a photo of her eye.

Have you added new birds to your flock within the last 30 days.
