Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

Just added 6 new goose eggs to the 'bator.

I have a thread called "Incubating eggs of different ages" that should help if you've got different hatch dates. When eggs hatch, it releases a bacteria bloom into the 'bator, which can reduce the hatching chances of eggs zipping later on. If you don't do that, and always wash your hands before you touch hatching eggs, it really increases your chances of a good hatch.
At least, it always does with me!

I can officially join the group as I got my first egg yesterday. I'm going to collect for a week or so until I can fill a bator.

Not to worry, I have 5 'bators, three of which are Sportsmans. LOL Plenty of room for staggered hatches.

Welcome, r4eboxer!

Aspen, congrats to you, too on setting more eggs!
Thanks...I'm uber egg-cited! OH, I candled four goose eggs that I set about 4-5 days ago, and I can see heart-beats in 2-3 of them! Two of them are from Ashley I think, so very excited about that. As the first two eggs she laid were both fertile, but no afterwards, until now.
Thanks Aspen. Hatching goose eggs is the highlight of my entire year!

Thank you Iain!
This will be my first year with goslings, so I'm pumped!
