Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

7 more days until 5 of my eggs are supposed to hatch. Then the other 3 should a week later. All looks good after candling. All 12 of my duck eggs have wigglers! Hopefully on May 1st or 2nd ill have some runner x pekin ducklings...cant help wondering what their coloring might be?

Congratulations on all the successful hatches! Yeesh, not on here for a matter of a few hours and BAM!, about four pages of stories have flown by.

LOL
I love the stories! Ginger, Hanna and Nikki make for quite the trio! Maybe just take a few of Hanna's eggs and give them to Ginger? Hanna can't count...

Had a crazy few days of Goslings hatching !!

I got my 2 sebbies

& here are my 3 African Dewlaps I got from Utah !!!

Thanks! It will be sad to see the gosling/duckling duo leave for their new home on Thursday, but I'll get to keep the 2nd duckling pair until the weekend.

Still air styro bators are extremely temperamental, but with close attention can still have good hatches, even if the eggs are not all on the same schedule. Since the humidity in my bator room is 16%, I often bump humidity to 50s around day 24. Then I can get it above 75% faster when I think they are getting ready to internally pip. I'd rather err on the side of bumping humidity too soon than deal with shrink wrap.
Thank you SO much! This is very helpful!

Working on my Aboreal Gardening! I have my ducks & geese so I am working on my tomato pots so My geese cannot get to them!
