Let's have a gosling hatchalong!

Another hatching on last night. He was hatched with 2 poults under my turkey hen. This was a dry hatch. I left this goose egg alone and didn't mist it at all during the incubation period.

Congrats!!!

Clarification question -- I just candled my eggs - day 25 - the air cell seems to be a little larger than 3 days ago, but not "dipping" that I can tell. I have read Pete's guide several times and just want to be sure I'm not missing anything. At this point, I think I should keep candeling them until I see the dip -- or an internal pip and then stop turning -- so I'm still turning now, is that correct? thanks for everyones experience and advice.

Hi. Yes keep turning until drawdown which is a natural time when to stop as the egg has a natural balance. Keep daily candling to pinpoint aircell enlargement.

Keep humidity down until pipping is confirmed

Best of luck.
