That is a definitely a cockerel, with those developing sickles and large comb. A beautiful one, that is, with his blue sheen.

What I feel like gave him away the most is I have the April hens in a separate coop and he started going in the coop with my older hens at night and roosting. He's not crowing but it's been noisier in there at 5:30am.

Extra disappointed because I spent more money on this breed than I normally would. Wish I could keep him.
