Those are nice birds, how old were they when you processed them?
Just wondering because mine are 10 weeks and I'm wondering if I should wait a few more weeks and see if they get bigger

Cyberous.... your better off keeping a hen to breed with a RIR Rooster. The males of the Cornish x's just get too big to breed. It seems like you don't want the crowing? The x's will attempt to crow but the suck at it.... sounds more like a screech...

It may be worth a shot, you will definately get some good crosses.

Its not that I want a end result of breeding, I would just like a rooster but they can't crow.

Is there such a thing as a silent rooster?

Here are my colored rangers and also my cornish x who are a week or so older. In these pics the Rangers right at a month old and the CRX are about five weeks plus a couple days.
