LGBTQ+ Poultry Keepers

Thats the easy thing about Amprolium, its pretty harmless to the birds but will cure them if this is a Coccidiosis thing, so why not try it. SO many people had issues with Coccidia this year, its on the rampage. You should see sone improvement in a few days, keep us posted! :hugs

Oh and use it for 5-7 days followed by probiotics for a few days after.

I will! Coccidiosis is one of those things that always seems to pop up here and there. She'll get the amprolium in the morning

You might need to use shade cloth this year. I had several cactus get burned this year, I ended up hanging 50% cloth and this helped greatly. They really don't like or need blasting sun, mine did a lot better in partial shade.

Mine always hate it when I take them away from full sun. Seems they like tanning :lau . I've been considering a shade cloth for a while, especially for my gymnocalycium and astrophytum though

@fluffycrow Also, if your girl is not drinking either, you may need to get her started and syringe a bit into her mouth, (hold her head level, not back) a few times the first day to get this stuff in her system.

So far I don't think we're at that point yet. I'll be sure to do that if it comes to it

I've learned so much about different types of Cacti this year, unfortunately trial and error and I did lose a few plants, not to mention the many I lost to scale! Thankfully thats over. But yes, some LOVE the blazing sun and others, even though they are cactus, they would rather have some shade. My column types and barrels seem to thrive in blasting sun, the mamarilla, chamaecereus sivestrii and tephrocactus articulatus all liked bright indirect sun. Everything I read on line about some of my Succulents was totally wrong, many of them hate the sun guzzle water!! This little thing nearly died as I followed the directions to care for it, once I figured out it needed a ton of water and more shade, its grown like crazy in the past couple of months!

They all look so gorgeous! I've thoroughly enjoyed seeing you get more experienced with succulents (and more obsessed). You're a much more confident keeper now, and it shows! All your succulents look amazing!

You helped me quite a bit along the way, enabled me as well, 🤣 I can't thank you enough for your knowledge and pushing me along in this wonderful hobby of keeping succulents. :hugs I love these little ones, they sure do brighten my day, I look forward to seeing them each and every day. 🥰🌵🪴

So glad to read! Yes, I did enable your succulent addiction a fair bit :lau . Can't say exactly the same for your experience with these wonderful plants. A lot of things you learned on your own, especially with all the different pests you encountered!

If I ever see another bug on any of my plants I gonna freak right out.

Updates from me.
I'm currently on day 3 of being sick. I'm almost done with it though.

Our cat Archie went missing last week on Tuesday and we've had no luck in finding him. I've posted everywhere online, made a lost pet report with every shelter, and looked around the neighborhood and even farther out in case he wandered too far.
Since he's microchipped, I'm hopeful that if he gets picked up that he'll be home soon.
