Modified pea on the second maybe?

I'm going with one pea one straight, just because my modified peas had a really large base. But I'm still not throwing out the possibility of the second being modified pea

I'm thinking it's likely a modified as well, since I only have pea males in this pen, but the base is just so thin compared to how they usually present.

Should be pea. Modified cannot breed true in any breed

Good question! I don't know much about chicken genetics but perhaps it's a different gene?

Yes. Like I said, I'm not sure how the genes work, if the one for the comb is connected to the wattles and in which way.

Pea doesn't mean no wattles at all. My Cornish boys get them. It's the beard that also helps cut down on wattles

Ah, OK. I'm pretty sure the pea comb to some degree inhibits wattle growth, but I could be wrong
