Aren't there like 3 Qs too right in a row?If this is your way of saying you're part of the community, then welcome. I don't want this corner of BYC to feel unwelcoming, but it really does help a lot of people to see the Q
Never knew that they were spelled differentMackinaw is an actual town near the bridge to the Upper Peninsula and Mackinac is the Island, however they are both pronounced "Mack-in-awe. Supposedly the town wanted to distinguish itself from the island.
Sounds more like he just needs to swimAgreed. I grew up in the 'burbs and lived in Ottawa most of it. Ottawa may be a large city, but it has a small city feel to it (except the downtown core). Still, I couldn't wait to get out of there and to the middle of nowhere!
I've been trying!!! But there's the border problem. One doesn't just relocate to Canada.
It can be confusing!Never knew that they were spelled different

Nowhere else I'd rather be now. I don't do well with lots of people, lol.Yes middle of nowhere has my name on it.I can't live anywhere else, I just don't fit in anywhere else.
This is true on the border issue, couldn't he get a visa or a green card for a while and apply for citizenship? I really don't know what's involved in crossing borders however.
