(Lol that’s fine. The only option is for us right now anyway is to have them talk or wait for River) Xylo walked over to the window and looked at the group outside. He asked simply “So everyone’s been fine today?”

She joined him by the window, watching the group as well. Without much emotion, she responded, "To my knowledge, yes." She continued. "Everyone was outside today doing various things. Nobody's hurt, nobody's starving, and as far as I can tell nobody's upset."

Tory hugged Sierra hard. "But you're still in my family, right?" As she heard the sadness in Sierras voice, she sent comfort using her power. Why was Sierra sad?

Sierra noticed Tory using her power and smiled some. She returned the embrace, explaining softly “Of course I’m still in your family Tory.”,

Sierra noticed Tory using her power and smiled some. She returned the embrace, explaining softly “Of course I’m still in your family Tory.”,

Tory relaxed, releived.

Xylo nodded, responding simply “That’s good.” After some more observing, he noticed Lucas wasn’t there. He asked in that same simple nonchalant tone “Do you know where Lucas is?”

"No, I don't," Persepolis answered. "I haven't seen him much since we got here. And I haven't seen him since Luna and I returned."
She had no idea where he could be. She didn't talk to Lucas much, so if he went anywhere, she didn't know. She supposed that he was just milling about somewhere having some time to himself.

"Sounds fun," Persepolis replied. "Yeah, Luna and I spent most of the time after we got here picking berries. You'd be surprised how many there are in the area. Seems we have a better supply of food here than at the other cabin."
Persepolis didn't mention the humans that they had encountered. A deal was a deal and she would keep her word.

Xylo nodded, responding thoughtfully “It’s a better location as well. It’s further within the woods, and farther away from the mansion too, so that’s good.” He added after some melancholy vision “And if need be, we could evacuate to the mountain. Sierra could help us.”

Persepolis watched as the pancakes produced small bubbles in the batter. They were ready to flip.
She commented distractedly "You should flip them now, River."
She again looked out the window, watching as the others chatted.

River flipped the pancake with her sword and once it was done she called. "Xylo, would you go get yourself a plate I can put this on?"

River`s head snapped around. "Lucas isn`t there?" She growled quietly.

River flipped the pancake with her sword and once it was done she called. "Xylo, would you go get yourself a plate I can put this on?"

(I remembered that plan just as I said that XD And, yes, she did get very protective. XD)
River gave him back the plate with his pancake on it and set her`s beside her. She poured herself some batter into the pan and waited. I hope Lucas is okay. She thought.

Persepolis announced simply, "I'm going to head back outside to talk with the others. You two should join us when you're done cooking. Just don't forget to take the pan off the fire."
She left, walking over to the group. She asked nonchalantly, "What'd I miss?" sitting down between Luna and Hector.
