Persepolis opened her eyes slowly. It was bright, brighter than it normally was at the time when she usually gets up. I must have really been exhausted to sleep in late She thought. She glanced over to Luna, still asleep. Persepolis carefully got out of bed, careful not to make any noise. She didn't want to wake her, not yet.
Persepolis decided she'd have a little fun to start her day. She quietly transformed into her Golden Eagle state, and silently glided over to the nightstand by Luna's bed. Luna was facing it as she slept. Perched on the edge, Persepolis spread her wings to their full wingspan. She then dropped the tip of her right wing, hanging it at what looked like an unnatural angle. Next, she tilted her head completely sideways, parallel with the ground and stuck out her tongue. She stared straight ahead, waiting for Luna to wake up.
