Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

After he kissed her, River pulled her head away to meet his eyes. "Do you mind if we go hunting or something?" She asked in a whisper shyly, casting a glance at Fola's and Kayla's dead bodies and the blood covering the ground. "I'd like to get away from here." She added quietly, looking back at him
Xylo nodded softly, and took her hand gently. She needed to get away from the dead bodies, or else her emotional stability would only deteriorate further. And she didn’t deserve that. As they walked, he whispered sincerely “I love you River. Never forget that.”

Luna nodded, and stood up to begin the trek. They arrived about an hour later, after a long yet silent walk. She asked tiredly “Want me to give you a knife to cut it up?”
Persepolis, slightly exhausted, and replied gratefully, "That'd be great, thanks." She strung the deer up by a tree limb, heavily pulling on the rope to lift it. She waited for a knife.

River looked up at him with her grey eyes, that had been sealed to the ground in-front of them. "I won't, I promise."

Xylo gave her a comforting squeeze of her hand as they walked. He loved her like he had never loved a woman before, and seeing her like this made his heart ache, he was also affected by what had happened ven though he barely knew those who Horius had murdered.

Luna handed her a knife, the one least stained with blood, and asked tiredly “Want me to get two glasses of water for us?” , slightly tired as well.
Persepolis nodded, "Yes, please." She took up the knife and started cutting under the skin, starting at the tail. After making a notch in the skin, she plunged the knife into the abdomen of the carcass and cut down towards the head. She gutted the deer and threw the guts in the woods save for the heart and liver.

River glanced around, as if unsure if Horius still near. She wasn't exactly sure where were Xylo and she were walking to, she wasn't paying enough attention, but she knew it was away from the bodies.
She squeezed his hand when he squeezed her's.

Luna went back into the cabin and downed a whole glass of water before she served another two, one for her, and one for Persepolis. With a smile to Hector as she passed him, she returned to Persepolis, setting the cup she hadn't used down next to her gently, so that none of it spilled. With a soft sigh, she took her cup and began sipping it, before asking with an entertained smile, "Want a wet towel to clean your hands as well?"

Xylo whispered gently as they walked, "I promise that never will something like that happen to you or our child." His eyes were fierce, determined, loving. Xylo would easily lay down his life for her or her child, with no hesitation. He held her hand a little tighter as they walked, a sign that she could trust in him.
