Lighter-than-air pan rolls

Why that is so sweet of you to say that! I make her supper for her sometimes in the winter when they get home, too. Easy crockpot stuff. She and her dh are counselors at the local prison and have two boys. She is only 35 and has suffered two heart attacks. My dh and I treat her like she is one of our own. I don't have a daughter who lives close enough to fix for. LOL

Kk so I just need to let it set longer before I shape them and put them in the oven? How long would you reccomend? Thank you for the advice! I can't wait to have another go. Like I said the flavor was Awesome, I am just new to homemade bread and rolls.

Ah, I may see the problem. After you shape them, they have to rise AGAIN. Read Katy's recipe. Im thinking you shaped them and then baked them.

Yes, you need to let them raise again after you shape them. How long depends on the day and the temp in your house. Letting them double in bulk is what usually is recommended.

They ARE good! I finally got it down pat how to make them. The very first batch I made was so funny. They somehow turned out as flat as frizbees. Chickens had a feast that day.

Your poor poor hubby, no fresh bread for that hard working farmer....tsk tsk tsk...
