Limping hen. Need advice.

I hate to disagree @penny1960 were it my hen I would leave her be. I do not have your credentials but it seems the hen is getting around ok and just needs left alone to heal. She broke a tarsal the video shows it is the foot causing the pain and nothing higher. Regardless I am horrible with over treating myself.

She was eating well, but holding it up this morning. I think the jump down from the roost probably hurt. I'm thinking maybe an epsom salts warm water soak and forced sleeping in a dog kennel for a while. Make sense? Can you give a diluted ibuprofen or something for pain and swelling or does that make them less cautious and prone to injure it more. Dosage info if applicable please.

Since it is nearing roost oclock I would grab her tonight and inspect for Brumblefoot. Is she a large breed and how high are your roosts will be a common feature. Naturally, you better come bearing treats for the indignity.
I second bumblefoot, please double check. The feet can be dirty and it can be easy to miss. An epsom salt soak will help make her feel better if it's a strain and clean her feet really well so you cane inspect them to be sure.

I'll clean them well and re-check. Try to get some pictures. Would it manifest that quickly? I've been outside with them a lot. No limp and then all of a sudden she has her tail down and is limping around. I didn't feel any warmth or swelling last night.
