Springtails. Completely harmless. Ive seen them jumping all over a snowbank in winter if you get a freak warm day in new england in the winter.

That definitely seems a lot more likely but some seem to have completely different body shapes so

Oh wow really!? That’s hilarious! Never noticed that before or seen these and I’ve lived here all my life.... well, almost. Maybe I just don’t pay attention.

Some of them jumped today and others stayed there so maybe a few types like @Kiki was thinking? Or maybe just sluggish from the cold we had yesterday?
