Newspaper is really bad for them to try and walk on. Pine shavings or an old towel would be much better to help with walking so the feet don’t slip. Are his toes curling under? Have you used any vitamins with b2 riboflavin? That can help to prevent curled under toes.

It looks like she may have hurt her toe. Whenever I put her somewhere in the box (I have a washcloth on it) She keeps walking backwards until she hits a wall. she will stand up, she will eat, I've been told she's been drinking, she seems to want to sleep (which is not surprising, due to me trying to find out what was up with her at 2:00 in the morning. We usually go to bed 10-11PM, and some people wake up at 4-6AM)

I have a grown hen now who is having problems walking, and she will panic and place her wings out when she loses balance, and take a couple of steps backward. It is good that she is not sneezing as much.

You can buy human b complex vitamins at a grocery store or pharmacy. Beef liver or ground beef in small amounts have vitamins. Do they sell vitamin for chicks where you buy your feed?
