Little Giant 9200 Still Air Incubator - humidity

Oh. I didn't think about that lol. If there is anything in it I'll have to figure out something to do.

You'll have to get another incubator

Yeah. I don't have the money for one lol. I'm actually in debt with my grandfather because he bought some chickens for me because I didn't have the money at the time. I'll figure it out.

Does this look right or day 11-12? I took pictures. They're not very good like the second one, It's really not that shape. The first one is more defined than what this picture shows.

There is one more egg but I couldn't see much in it. There's no blood rings in any of them though.

I'm getting a little worried because I've been looking at pictures of eggs on day 12 and most look different from mine. :/ I guess I'll know for sure on day 15? Or 17? The one in the first pic is actually pretty big. I can see the shape of a chicken but it is big enough? Now the first time I candled my eggs I saw blood vessels and now I'm not seeing any but I am seeing a bigger chick. Ugh! The not knowing is killing me!

A sniff test. Hmm I read about doing that earlier today. I haven't noticed a smell yet. I didn't try to sniff them either. I'll do that when I turn them I guess. My brother is going to think I'm so weird lol.

We were actually 2 hours late to turn them so I just did. I told my brother I was going to sniff them and if they smelled bad they're dead. This was our conversation- "I'm going to sniff the eggs and if they smell bad they're probably dead." MY BROTHER- "Katie." ME-" I just wanna smell them". BROTHER-"Katie." ME- "I just-" BROTHER-"Katie". ME-"I just wanna smell them. I just wanna smell them". He's afraid I'm going to crack them and the chick would still be alive like the first one. We get along so well lol.

They only smelt warm. No stink. Our incubator smells like orange because my brother had some orange juice (like artificial orange. Not fruit orange) in a bottle. After he rinsed it out and we used it to put water in the incubator but the orange smell remained.

My maglite was doing a really good job of lighting up the egg until about yesterday. I downloaded a flashlight app to my cell phone (samsung S5) and it works so much better! We actually saw the chicks moving all over the place in the shell!

I'll try and video it but not sure how well it will show up!

So excited because we have at least two alive

My smell the same way except not the orange. I filled up an old salsa bottel and green olive bottle to put in there!
