Live Cam for Coop?

BTW, if you use an infared heat lamp inside the coop for toasty warm birds in the winter, and use a night vision camera, your coop will appear to be lit up like daylight (no color) on the camera.

@TransitionArizona

Im not so sure your correct about that. Heat lamps do not put out light source enough to alter a night vision sensor. Also, it depends on where you position the cam. Then the cam would obviously be set for light source accordingly as if it were daytime?
Plus, I prefer heat tape.

Here is a night vision coop-cam pic I just took a few minutes ago. The dark vertical bar in the image is the auto chicken door mechanism. From this camera angle, I can assure myself that the birds are roosting, and the door is closed. If you were to go in the coop right now, it would be quite dark except for the reddish glow from the heat lamp.

I hope my image post works. If not, you can copy and paste into your browser to see the snap shot.

(edit: having trouble inserting an image, to have to copy and paste link, sorry)
